Brenton Strange to the Injured List, but Not for Long

The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed tight end Brenton Strange on the injured reserve list due to a hip injury.

According to NFL rules, Strange will have to miss at least four games. The earliest he could return would be in the Week 11 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Strange, who leads the Jaguars with 20 receptions, suffered the injury during the 31-28 victory over Kansas City on Monday night. The injury occurred in the second quarter, without contact, after running a route. He did not return to the game.

Additionally, the Jaguars signed wide receiver Tim Jones to the practice squad and released wide receiver Erik Ezukanma from the practice squad.
