Jaguars: Serious AFC Contenders
The Jaguars’ last-second victory over the Chiefs broke an eight-game losing streak in the series (including playoffs). With a 4-1 record, the Jaguars and their rookie coach, Liam Coen, share the best record in the AFC, tied with the Bills and the Colts. Lawrence’s ground attack was key to the triumph. The quarterback converted important third downs with his legs and scored two touchdowns on the ground, finishing with 54 yards on 10 carries. Devin Lloyd’s play, with an interception that returned 99 yards for a touchdown, was the longest in Jaguars history. The Jaguars’ next game will be against the Seahawks on October 12.
