Jaxson Dart Out of Action with Concussion
New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart remains in concussion protocol and will not participate in Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, interim coach Mike Kafka informed the media on Friday.
Jameis Winston will start for the second consecutive time in Dart’s absence.
Dart had returned as a limited participant in Wednesday and Thursday’s practices, but did not progress enough to be considered fit to play.
It’s in the protocol. He’s working on that phase.
Kafka added: “Based on the tests and results, we declare it out for this week.”
