Attack on the Eagles’ offensive coordinator’s residence after the loss
Philadelphia – The New Jersey residence of Kevin Patullo, the Eagles’ offensive coordinator, was vandalized on Saturday morning, according to the Moorestown Police Department.
The incident took place after the Eagles’ home defeat to the Chicago Bears on Friday, with a score of 24-15.
A video circulating on social media showed several people throwing objects at Patullo’s house. Although it was initially suggested that they were stones, a representative of the Moorestown police clarified that they were eggs, and added that the investigation is ongoing.
Patullo, 44, has been under scrutiny due to the Eagles’ offensive problems this season. The NFL’s highest-paid offense ranks 24th in yards (304.8 per game), 23rd in passing (196.3 YPG), 22nd in rushing (108.5 YPG), and 19th in scoring (22.5 PPG).
Patullo has been part of the Eagles’ staff since Nick Sirianni was hired as head coach in 2021. He was promoted from passing game coordinator and associate coach to offensive coordinator this offseason, replacing Kellen Moore, now coach of the New Orleans Saints.
Sirianni reiterated during a conference call with reporters on Monday that Patullo would remain the play-caller for the Eagles after an evaluation over the weekend. Philadelphia has lost two straight games and now has an 8-4 record before their Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Chargers next Monday.
