Vandalism at the Eagles’ offensive coordinator’s residence

The New Jersey residence of Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo was vandalized early Saturday morning, according to the Moorestown Police Department.

The incident took place after the Eagles’ home defeat to the Chicago Bears, with a score of 24-15, on Friday.

A video circulating on social media showed several people throwing objects at Patullo’s house. Although it was initially speculated that they were stones, a representative of the Moorestown police clarified that they were eggs, and added that the investigation is ongoing.

Patullo, 44 years old, has been the subject of criticism due to the offensive problems that have affected the Eagles this season. The offense, which has the largest budget in the NFL, is ranked 24th in yards (304.8 per game), 23rd in passing (196.3 ypg), 22nd in rushing (108.5 ypg) and 19th in scoring (22.5 ppg).

Patullo has been part of the Eagles’ coaching staff throughout coach Nick Sirianni’s tenure. He was promoted from pass game coordinator and associate coach to offensive coordinator this offseason, replacing Kellen Moore, now head coach of the New Orleans Saints.

Sirianni reiterated during a conference call with reporters on Monday that Patullo would remain in charge of calling the plays for the Eagles, following a weekend of evaluation. Philadelphia has lost two consecutive games and now has an 8-4 record, before their Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, December 8th.
