The Philadelphia Eagles and their head coach, Nick Sirianni, have agreed to a multi-year contract extension, the team announced on Monday.

The financial details of the extension were not disclosed.

As an organization, we have always strived to create a culture of sustained success and championship. Nothing is more important to fostering that environment than having tremendous leadership. Nick has embodied everything we were looking for in a head coach since we hired him four years ago. His authentic leadership style, his football intelligence, his passion for the game, and his growth mindset have helped bring out the best in our team. I am excited about what the future holds for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jeffrey Lurie, Eagles owner

Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie had already hinted last month, during the NFL annual meeting in Palm Beach, Florida, that a contract extension was imminent.

Before this extension, Sirianni was set to enter the final year of the five-year contract he signed when hired by the Eagles in 2021.

Sirianni, 43, has a 48-20 record with the Eagles, and his winning percentage (.706) is the third-highest in the Super Bowl era. He has achieved a 6-3 postseason record and has led the team to two Super Bowl appearances, including a decisive victory last February against the Kansas City Chiefs.
