J.K. Dobbins to Reserve List with Injury; Season Over for the Running Back

Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins will be placed on injured reserve with a foot injury that will require surgery, likely ending his season, according to sources.

Dobbins, who leads Denver in carries with 772 yards this season, suffered the injury as a result of a tackle during the Week 10 victory against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The running back, who is in his fifth year and will become a free agent after this season, is expected to make a full recovery, sources added.

With Dobbins out, rookie RJ Harvey, a second-round pick from Denver, takes over the role of lead running back. In 10 games, Harvey has 50 carries for 214 yards, plus 25 receptions. He also has the team’s longest run this season, 50 yards against the Tennessee Titans in Week 1.
