David White Assumes Interim Executive Director Role at NFLPA

The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) chose David White as its interim executive director on Sunday night, according to the union itself, 17 days after the resignation of Lloyd Howell Jr. White, who is the CEO of 3CG Ventures, an executive coaching and strategy firm, also serves as chairman of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. He has extensive work experience, having led the SAG-AFTRA union, which represents 160,000 entertainment industry members, from 2009 to 2021.

“I am grateful to the NFLPA player leaders for entrusting me with the privilege and responsibility of leading their union as interim executive director,” White stated. “It is a duty I do not take lightly, and I am committed to restoring trust and ensuring that the union best serves its members. I look forward to working with the entire NFLPA team to protect the health and safety of the players, secure their financial well-being, and further strengthen their voice in shaping their future.”
