Cowboys Secure Hunter Luepke with Million-Dollar Extension

FRISCO, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys have secured running back Hunter Luepke with a two-year contract extension, valued at up to $7.5 million, according to sources close to the team. The agreement includes more than $5 million guaranteed for the player. Luepke becomes the third Cowboys player to sign an extension since the start of training camp, joining Jake Ferguson and DaRon Bland. The Cowboys are also in talks with Tyler Smith about a possible extension. Luepke, who was eligible to be a restricted free agent after the season, arrived to the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2023, coming from North Dakota State. In two seasons, Luepke has accumulated 18 carries for 57 yards and a touchdown, in addition to 15 receptions for 129 yards. His value lies in his versatility, as he can perform as a fullback, running back, and tight end, as well as being a key member of special teams.

Hunter Luepke is a total ‘stud’.
