DaRon Bland Signs Million-Dollar Extension with the Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys and cornerback DaRon Bland have reached an agreement on a four-year contract extension worth $92 million, according to sources.
Negotiations between the Cowboys and Bland began before any possible move regarding Micah Parsons.
Bland, 26, was recognized as a first-team All-Pro in 2023, a season in which he led the NFL with nine interceptions and set a league record with five touchdown returns.
Since being selected by the Cowboys in the fifth round of the 2022 draft, Bland has accumulated 14 interceptions in three seasons.
It’s the second player from the Cowboys’ 2022 draft class to secure an extension this year, joining tight end Jake Ferguson, who signed a four-year, $52 million contract in July.
