ASHBURN, Va. – The Washington Commanders will face the Chicago Bears on Monday, but will again be without two of their three main receivers, and could even lose them all.Commanders coach Dan Quinn confirmed the absences of receivers Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin/knee) on Saturday. Meanwhile, Deebo Samuel did not participate in Thursday or Saturday’s practices due to a heel injury, but Quinn indicated that a decision on his participation will be made on Monday itself.McLaurin will miss his third consecutive game, and Brown will be absent for the fourth time. Samuel has played in all five games this season. He was seen working on a separate field with the strength and conditioning coaches.Quinn ruled out McLaurin for Monday’s game after he was unable to practice this week. McLaurin injured his quadriceps against the Las Vegas Raiders on September 21 while diving toward the end zone after a 56-yard reception.During the portion of the training open to the media on Saturday, he was seen running sprints on a separate field.Brown was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday and Thursday’s practices. He was able to run routes at full speed, but Quinn commented: “He had a good week in individual work, but he’s not ready yet.”McLaurin, who signed a three-year extension in late August, after missing all of Washington’s training camp, had 10 receptions for 149 yards and no touchdowns in the first three games.Samuel has become the Commanders’ primary target and would be a crucial loss if he can’t play. He leads Washington with 30 receptions, 300 yards, and three touchdown receptions. Washington traded a fifth-round pick to San Francisco for Samuel in the offseason.In the last two weeks without McLaurin and Brown, Samuel has achieved a total of 14 receptions for 168 yards.Brown had three receptions for 36 yards in the first two games. In 11 games with Washington last season, he caught 35 passes for 453 yards and a touchdown. He was also second in the NFL in drawing six defensive pass interference penalties.Brown caught the 52-yard pass from Jayden Daniels to beat Chicago 18-15 in Week 8 of last season.
