49ers: Jennings Plays, Williams Questionable vs Saints | NFL

1 Min Read

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings is slated to participate in Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. The status of left tackle Trent Williams will be determined after pre-game warmups, according to sources close to the team.

Both players were listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. Jennings is recovering from a left shoulder injury, while Williams is dealing with a knee injury.

Williams will evaluate his knee during warmups to determine his fitness to play. If he is unavailable, Spencer Burford would take his place as left tackle.

The tests performed on Jauan Jennings this week ruled out a serious injury to his left shoulder. Jennings left the Week 1 game against Seattle in the final quarter due to this injury.

The 49ers will be without their starting quarterback, Brock Purdy, who is out due to injuries to his left shoulder and foot, nor will they have tight end George Kittle, who was placed on the injured reserve list for a hamstring injury.
