Coen revealed that the team will define the specific plan for Hunter’s participation against the Carolina Panthers in the next 24 hours. However, he emphasized the need for flexibility, given that Hunter missed the second preseason game and four training sessions due to an upper body injury. Coen praised Hunter’s dedication to the game plan on both sides of the ball in recent days, highlighting his good performance on the field. In the 15 training practices in which he fully participated, Hunter accumulated 364 plays in 7-on-7 and 11-on-11. The distribution was almost even, with 188 plays on offense and 176 on defense. In the 11-on-11 work, Hunter was on the field for 173 plays on offense and 168 on defense.That’s something we need to be aware of and stay committed to as coaches to make sure that if he feels a little lost or doesn’t know what he’s doing in some things, maybe we need to take a step back and give him a break here maybe for a second.
