CeeDee Lamb, questionable for the game against the Packers

Dallas Cowboys star receiver CeeDee Lamb is unlikely to participate in Sunday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers. This was reported by sources to Alofoke Deportes this Monday. Stephen Jones, Cowboys executive, revealed on 105.3 The Fan that Lamb suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday’s 31-14 loss to the Chicago Bears.

“I think we have to evaluate the whole situation and see how it moves throughout the day. Certainly, he has a high ankle sprain and each one of those is different. We’d love to have him back for Green Bay, but at the same time we also have to understand that the injury is what it is, and we’ll analyze it,” Jones said.

The Cowboys want to evaluate Lamb’s condition in the next 10 to 14 days before making decisions about his status. Lamb, who started the season with consecutive 100-yard performances, was injured at 8:34 of the first quarter on a running play, when linebacker Noah Sewell fell on the back of Lamb’s legs, causing his ankle to twist. Lamb missed the next 14 plays in two series. He returned for the first play of the second quarter and appeared to be limping as he moved. Officially, he was ruled out for the start of the second half, but he affirmed that his condition improved as the game went on. Lamb has only missed three games in his career, two of them at the end of last year due to a shoulder injury, when the Cowboys were eliminated from playoff contention.
