Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will not be fined for the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty he received in last week’s preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams, according to league sources. Lamb, who was not in uniform for the game, was impacted by line judge Anthony Jeffries during a deep pass from Joe Milton III to Jonathan Mingo. The officials marked a pass interference penalty on the Rams on the play, but Lamb was in the white zone of the sideline, reserved for officials, at the time of the action. The incident did not cause any injuries to Lamb, who was able to laugh at the situation with his teammates on the bench. He practiced without problems last week, but he is not expected to play in the game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Referee Alex Moore described the play as a “rare occurrence” in a post-game report.I hope the officer is okay. They said he’s okay, but we have to be better than that. CeeDee knows he needs to be better. We know we need to be better.

It’s something we’re all aware of, that white area is our safe working zone.
