Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward has suffered a sprain in the AC joint of his right shoulder, according to reports. Despite the injury, doctors do not consider surgery necessary, according to sources close to him. Ward, selected as the first pick in last year’s NFL draft, underwent medical tests on Monday after leaving the game against Jacksonville on Sunday in the first quarter. Ward’s injury occurred on the Titans’ first offensive series, falling unfortunately on his right shoulder while attempting to score a 7-yard touchdown. This play gave the Titans an initial 7-0 lead.
