Buccaneers with Key Doubts Ready to Face the Eagles

Good news for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of Sunday’s crucial match against the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite the doubts, three key players are expected to be on the field, according to sources close to the team.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield, wide receiver Chris Godwin Jr., and left tackle Tristan Wirfs, who were listed as questionable, would be available for the game.

Mayfield, who has been dealing with a right biceps injury, was limited in practice during the week. However, coach Todd Bowles expressed his confidence that the quarterback would be ready for Sunday.

For Godwin (ankle) and Wirfs (knee), this will mark their debut in the 2025 season, after missing the first three games. Both players fully participated in Friday’s practice.

Godwin’s return will be crucial for the team, as they will seek to fill the absence of their main receiver, Mike Evans, who is expected to be out for three to four weeks due to a strain in his left hamstring.
