Warriors to Reunite Curry Brothers with Seth Signing
The Golden State Warriors will finalize the reunion of the Curry brothers by signing veteran guard Seth Curry for the remainder of the season, according to sources.
Seth Curry, who participated in the Warriors’ training camp, was cut before the start of the season due to the team’s financial restrictions.
The Warriors are financially limited, which forced them to keep only 14 players at the start of the season. This allowed them to have the necessary space to add Seth Curry in the 15th vacancy.
However, fans will have to wait to see Seth and Stephen Curry together on the court. Stephen, who leads the Warriors with 27.9 points per game, is out with a left quadriceps injury and will be reevaluated next week.
In his twelfth season in the NBA, Seth Curry began his career in the G League program of the franchise in Santa Cruz. Then, he sought his own professional path on ten NBA teams, with the goal of moving away from the shadow of his brother, according to his own words.
This has resulted in a remarkable success in the launch. The youngest Curry has scored 945 three-pointers in his career with a 43.3% effectiveness, being the seventh highest percentage in the history of the league. Last season, he achieved the best percentage in the NBA from the three-point line, with 45.6%.
Last summer, Seth Curry felt it was the right time to join Stephen, who has always wanted to play with his brother in the NBA.
