The absence of Antetokounmpo, due to a strain in his left adductor, has been felt in the team. However, coach Doc Rivers hopes that this period will be beneficial for the team in the long run. The game also marked the Bucks’ first loss in the group stage of the NBA Cup. Bucks coach Doc Rivers had a perfect 8-0 record in Cup games before this encounter.
