Jordan Poole Cleared to Return to the Court with the Pelicans

New Orleans Pelicans guard Jordan Poole was cleared to resume basketball activities on the court this Monday, after missing ten games due to a quadriceps strain.

The news was confirmed by the team, generating expectations about the player’s return to competition.

Forward Herb Jones also made news, but for different reasons. He will miss at least a week due to a mild strain in his right calf and will be reevaluated later.

Poole hasn’t played since he participated for 27 minutes in the 116-112 victory against the Charlotte Hornets on November 4th.

During Poole’s absence, the Pelicans have only won one out of ten games, accumulating nine consecutive losses.

On November 19, Zion Williamson returned from a hamstring injury that kept him out for eight games.

So far this season, Poole is averaging 17.3 points and 33.9% three-point shooting efficiency. He has started in four of the seven games he has played.

Herb Jones, recognized for being one of the best defenders on the team, averages 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 steals.
