Javonte Green Bolsters the Pistons: One-Year Deal
Free agent forward Javonte Green is close to finalizing a one-year deal with the Detroit Pistons.
Green, 32, split last season between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 5.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in 68 combined games.
With his 6-foot-5-inch height, Green will bring a defensive presence to Detroit’s wing rotation, which already features players like Ausar Thompson, Jaden Ivey, Duncan Robinson, Caris LeVert, and Ronald Holland II.
In his career, Green has played in 263 games over six seasons with the Pelicans, the Cavs, the Chicago Bulls, and the Boston Celtics, averaging 5.3 points per game.
