Patrick Beverley Arrested for Assault in Texas
Former NBA player Patrick Beverley was arrested and charged with aggravated assault in a “domestic violence” incident in Texas, according to authorities. Beverley, 37, was arrested Friday morning at a residence in Rosharon, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. Bail was set at $40,000. Through social media, Beverley asked people to “not believe everything they see on the internet”.Beverley last played in the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2024. Previously, he was with the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, and several other teams during his 12-year career.He was understandably worried, as any brother would be for his sister. However, we do not believe that what happened afterwards occurred in the way it has been described and we look forward to having the opportunity to address that in court.
