Nuggets beat Thunder in overtime

In an exciting match that extended into overtime, the Denver Nuggets achieved a crucial victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder with a score of 113-104, thus taking a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference semifinals series.

Jamal Murray led the Nuggets’ offense with 27 points, while Michael Porter Jr. bounced back with 21 key points. Nikola Jokic contributed 20 points and 16 rebounds, and Aaron Gordon added 22 points for the Denver team.

Despite a challenging performance in the launch, Jokic initiated the comeback in overtime with a layup, ensuring the Nuggets would not fall behind again.

On the Thunder’s side, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a tough night, scoring 18 points. Jalen Williams led OKC with 32 points, followed by Chet Holmgren with 18.

The game was tied at 102 at the end of regulation, with Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokic missing basket attempts in the final seconds.

The Nuggets, after a loss in Game 2, knew they had to stay close on the scoreboard to take advantage of their experience and the support of their fans in the decisive moments.

Game 4 will be played on Sunday at Ball Arena.
