In an exciting Western Conference semi-final match, the Denver Nuggets achieved an epic victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder with a final score of 121-119.

Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets’ offense with a stellar performance, accumulating 42 points and 22 rebounds. Aaron Gordon became the hero of the game by scoring a crucial three-pointer in the final seconds, securing the victory for Denver.

The game, played in Oklahoma City, saw the Thunder miss a desperate shot as the buzzer sounded, leaving the Nuggets to celebrate a stunning comeback.

Russell Westbrook, who began his career with the Thunder, assisted on Gordon’s game-winning basket, marking his first playoff game in Oklahoma City as an opposing player.

Gordon finished the game with 22 points and 14 rebounds, adding his second game-winning shot in these playoffs. The first was a spectacular buzzer-beating dunk in the fourth game of the first-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Jamal Murray contributed 21 points for the Nuggets, who, seeded fourth, stole the first game after a seven-game series against the Clippers.

The opportunity for Denver arose after Oklahoma City’s Chet Holmgren missed two free throws with his team leading by one point.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stood out for the Thunder with 33 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Alex Caruso added 20 points, six assists and five steals.

Jokic faced foul trouble in the third quarter, but remained in the game, and the Nuggets managed to cut the deficit in the score.

In a tense moment, Jokic was sanctioned with a flagrant foul 1 for an elbow to Lu Dort, but Denver persisted in its effort to get closer on the scoreboard, culminating in the exciting victory.
