Jaylen Brown’s Father Arrested for Attempted Murder

Quenton M. Brown, father of Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, was arrested Thursday morning in Las Vegas, charged with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing that occurred Wednesday night. Multiple sources reported this. Quenton Brown, 57, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and appeared in court Thursday afternoon. He is scheduled to return to court on Tuesday. Bail was set at $300,000. According to Las Vegas police, the stabbing occurred after an argument between two people in a parking lot. Brown allegedly grazed the victim’s car when exiting his SUV, which triggered the argument. The police report indicates that Brown stabbed the victim several times after the victim turned his back. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is recovering from surgery, according to authorities.

Brown’s lawyer stated that his client was attacked first and that the stabbing was in self-defense.
