Strategic Moves in the Atlanta Hawks’ Office
The Atlanta Hawks, under the direction of new general manager Onsi Saleh, are about to finalize significant additions to their management team. Bryson Graham, current general manager of the New Orleans Pelicans, and Peter Dinwiddie, an executive with the Philadelphia 76ers, will join the organization.
Graham will assume the role of Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations, while Dinwiddie will be Senior Vice President of Strategy and Analytics. Both will report directly to Saleh, forming part of the new office structure. Graham’s journey with the Pelicans began as an intern, climbing the ranks to become general manager. His departure comes after 15 years of service with the franchise. Under the supervision of David Griffin, Graham contributed to the success of the Pelicans, participating in the identification of talents such as Herb Jones, Trey Murphy III, Yves Missi, Jose Alvarado, Naji Marshall, and Jordan Hawkins. In addition, he was part of the team that selected Dyson Daniels, who had an outstanding season and was awarded the NBA’s Most Improved Player award. Dinwiddie, recognized in the NBA, has been in the 76ers’ office since 2020, following 14 seasons with the Indiana Pacers. He has been key in numerous trade and hiring operations. These moves come after the dismissal of Landry Fields as general manager on April 21. The Hawks are looking for a new president of basketball operations, who will work in conjunction with Saleh and his team.
