Tyrese Haliburton Suffers Injury in Game 7 of the NBA Finals

OKLAHOMA CITY – Indiana Pacers star player Tyrese Haliburton suffered a right leg injury during the first quarter of Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Haliburton, who was already playing with a right calf strain, injured his lower right leg and reacted with frustration by hitting the floor. The player couldn’t support his leg and was taken to the Pacers’ locker room for evaluation. All the players, coaches, and medical staff from Indiana approached him on the court after the injury. The Pacers did not immediately issue a statement on the severity of the injury, which occurred without contact. At the time of the injury, which occurred with 4:55 left in the first quarter, Haliburton had scored nine points, all from the three-point line.
