Giannis Antetokounmpo, star of the Milwaukee Bucks and renowned NBA champion, shone with 30 points and 17 rebounds. His stellar performance was crucial for the victory. Antetokounmpo secured the victory for Greece by controlling the rebound and scoring two free throws. In the semifinals, Greece was defeated by Turkey, while Germany defeated Finland. Germany took the gold by defeating Turkey.
