Pistons’ Cade Cunningham Suffers Collapsed Lung
Detroit Pistons star Cade Cunningham has been diagnosed with a collapsed lung and is expected to be out for an extended period, according to sources.
Sources indicated that Cunningham’s collapsed lung is considered mild.
Cunningham, who is among the leaders in the race for the NBA MVP, left Tuesday’s game against the Washington Wizards due to what the team described as back spasms.
The two-time All-Star appeared to suffer an injury early in the first quarter while diving for a loose ball. He played a few more minutes before being taken out midway through the quarter.
