Bulls Suffer Significant Losses: Giddey, White, and Collins Out Due to Injury
Chicago Bulls face a complicated period after announcing that three key players will be out of action due to injuries. Josh Giddey, Coby White, and Zach Collins, all important players in the team’s rotation, will be absent for a considerable time.
The news, confirmed on Wednesday afternoon, indicates that Giddey will be reevaluated in two weeks due to a strain in his left hamstring. White, for his part, is suffering from a right calf strain and will be reevaluated in a week. Collins, the substitute pivot, will be out with a sprained right big toe and will be reevaluated in ten days.
The absence of Giddey and White represents a hard blow for the Bulls, as both players are fundamental pieces in the team’s offensive scheme. Giddey was having an outstanding season, with averages of 19.2 points, 9.0 assists, and 8.9 rebounds, all personal records. White was also averaging 19.2 points per game, showing a good performance on the court.
Collins, who recently returned after missing the start of the season due to a fracture in his left wrist, was averaging 9.7 points and 5.6 rebounds in the ten games he played.
The Bulls, with a record of 16-17, will look to stay on course this season despite these significant absences.
