The Milwaukee Bucks are about to add Alex Antetokounmpo to their roster on a dual contract, according to Alex Saratsis, general manager of Octagon, to Shams Charania of ESPN on Monday.

Alex, the youngest of the Antetokounmpo brothers, will join his older brothers, Giannis and Thanasis, in Milwaukee.

This marks a milestone in the NBA, as it is the first time that three brothers will be under active contract with the same team.

Alex Antetokounmpo has been playing in Europe since 2024, after a brief stint in the G League after not being selected in the 2021 draft. During the 2021-22 season, he was part of the Raptors 905 team of the G League and also had a period with the Milwaukee G League team from 2022-24.

To make room on the roster for Alex, the Bucks will waive guard Jamaree Bouyea, who was on a two-way contract, according to sources.

This summer, Giannis led the Greek national team to a bronze medal in the EuroBasket 2025 tournament, an achievement that the two-time MVP called his greatest sporting success. His brothers Thanasis and Kostas also played on that team.
