More Music for the Classic
The musical selection includes ‘MVP’ by Young Miko, a tribute to baseball’s connection with Puerto Rico, and ‘My Place’ by Japanese artist Fujii Kaze, which celebrates the World Baseball Classic’s impact in Japan.
The choice of artists reflects the diversity of the tournament venues, with the first match already played in Tokyo and the rest beginning in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Behind the musical production is Tainy, a renowned producer with two Grammy Awards, known for his work with Bad Bunny, Dua Lipa, and Justin Bieber.
The World Baseball Classic is taking place from March 4th to 17th, with the final scheduled at LoanDepot Park in Miami Marlins.
Japan, the defending champion, seeks to revalidate its title after defeating the United States 3-2 in the 2023 final.
