The Golden State Warriors defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves with a score of 99-88 in the first game of the second round of the NBA playoffs, despite the unexpected departure of Stephen Curry due to injury.

Curry, plagued by a thigh strain, had to leave the game in the first half and was seen with ice on his leg in the locker room. Despite this setback, the Warriors demonstrated their strength and effectiveness from the three-point line.

Buddy Hield was instrumental in the victory, scoring 24 points, including five three-pointers. Draymond Green contributed 18 points and led the team, which featured the participation of up to 12 players.

It was beautiful to see this. Everyone who entered the game contributed something.

Although the Timberwolves’ Jimmy Butler performed well with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists, his team couldn’t stop Golden State’s offense and defense.

The Warriors lead the series 1-0, but the focus is on Curry’s recovery for the second game.
