The renowned Dominican baseball player Wander Franco has publicly reported being the victim of a robbery while staying at a hotel in the province of Puerto Plata. According to Franco himself through a live broadcast on his social media, the incident occurred in his hotel room. The athlete explained that, before going out to train, he left the sum of two million Dominican pesos in his room. Upon returning, Franco discovered that only one million pesos remained, denouncing the disappearance of the other half of the money.Although Franco did not offer additional details on whether he filed a formal complaint with the authorities, he made it clear that he expects an investigation and clarification of what happened.
