Karl-Anthony Towns, Selected for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game

The New York Knicks’ center, Karl-Anthony Towns, has been selected as a reserve player for the Eastern Conference for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, the league announced on Sunday night. Towns will join teammate Jalen Brunson, who was selected as a starter, on the East team for the game to be played on February 15 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, home of the Clippers. The interior of New York joins a select group of seven Eastern reserves.

With this selection, Karl-Anthony Towns adds his sixth participation in an All-Star Game, having been previously selected in 2018, 2019, 2022, 2024, and 2025, solidifying himself as one of the most outstanding players in the NBA. In the 2025-26 season, Towns averaged 20 points and 11.8 rebounds per game in 45 games, averaging 31.6 minutes per game, establishing himself as a key piece in the Knicks’ performance.
