Toros del Este Dominate Leones del Escogido in Key Duel
SANTO DOMINGO – Los Toros del Este demonstrated their power by defeating the Leones del Escogido with a score of 3-1 this Monday at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium. Jeimer Candelario and Eloy Jiménez shone on offense, while pitcher Aaron Leasher led a solid performance from the mound.
The game, crucial for both teams’ aspirations this season, saw the Bulls take control early on.
Jiménez extended his streak of hits to five consecutive games, also maintaining a streak of five games driving in runs. With 13 RBIs, he leads this department in the current All-Against-All.
Candelario, for his part, had his second game with multiple hits in the Round Robin, adding four runs batted in in this phase.
