LA ROMANA – Los Toros del Este secured their spot in the Final Series after an exciting game against the Águilas Cibaeñas, culminating the most discussed series of the tournament with a 7-6 victory in ten innings, celebrated on Monday at the Francisco A. Micheli Stadium.
The game-defining run came in the tenth inning, with the bases loaded and two outs. Jeimer Candelario received a walk from reliever Andrew Pérez, allowing Bryan de la Cruz to score the decisive run, sealing the Toros’ victory and the elimination of the Águilas.
