This triumph represents the team’s 26th victory of the season and the 14th at home, ending a streak of five consecutive losses. In addition, the Bulls dominated the head-to-head series against the Tigers with a score of 7-3, while the Licey records a 21-27 record. Liberato led the Bulls’ attack, connecting his first home run of the season, number 40 for the team, who lead the league in this aspect. The outfielder extended his offensive streak by hitting in six of his first seven games and added his third consecutive game driving in runs. From the mound, Greg Minier (2-0, 0.00) took the victory, throwing 1.2 innings without allowing runs, with one hit and two strikeouts.
