Toros del Este Dominate Leones del Escogido in Thrilling Duel
In an action-packed encounter held this Monday at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, the Toros del Este defeated the Leones del Escogido with a score of 3-1. Jeimer Candelario and Eloy Jiménez shone with the bat, while the left-hander Aaron Leasher led a solid pitching performance.
The game, which kept fans on the edge of their seats, saw the Toros del Este take control from the start.
Eloy Jiménez extended his hitting streak to five consecutive games, also maintaining his impressive streak of five games driving in runs. With 13 RBIs, he leads the department in the current All-Star Game.
