Pre-Youth Women’s National Tournament Kicks Off Successfully
Santo Domingo – The National Tournament of Associations and Clubs of the Dominican Football Federation (FDF) has kicked off the Pre-juvenile female category. The exciting matches of the first day of the Metropolitan Zone took place last weekend, marking the beginning of a competition that promises great emotions. A total of six teams compete in the Metropolitan Zone, while 16 clubs from all over the country will compete for the title in this tournament, which is an integral part of the FDF Development Program. The coordination of the tournament is in charge of the Department of National Competitions, led by Carlos Ramírez. The end of the tournament is scheduled for March 2026. The competition, designed for players born on or after January 1, 2009 (Under-16), includes a total of 92 matches across the Dominican Republic. The tournament format is divided into a first phase, where the 16 clubs will be distributed into three geographical zones: Metropolitan, North and South.Participating Teams and Competition Format
