Milwaukee, USA – Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernández, from the Dominican Republic, made an unusual decision during his stay in Milwaukee. He chose not to stay at the historic Pfister Hotel, known for its paranormal legends, due to his wife’s experiences. In a press conference, Hernandez explained that the decision was based on his partner’s discomfort. She reported having experienced strange events at the hotel.

I don’t believe in ghosts. I’ve stayed there before and never seen or heard anything. But my wife is accompanying me on this trip and says she doesn’t want to stay there. So we had to find another hotel.

The player, who is having an outstanding postseason, reported that his wife perceived phenomena such as lights turning on and off by themselves, doors moving, and footsteps in the hallways. Despite not believing in the supernatural, Hernández admitted to having heard similar testimonies from other players and family members who also stayed at the Pfister. In 2023, Mookie Betts, Hernández’s teammate, also avoided the hotel, opting for an Airbnb. The Pfister Hotel, opened in 1893, is famous for both its elegance and the accounts of alleged sightings and unexplained events.
