Higüey Prepares for the 50th Edition of the Torneo Superior Altagraciano

HIGÜEY, LA ALTAGRACIA – The 50th edition of the Torneo Superior Altagraciano (TBS Higüey 2025) is about to begin this Wednesday, promising an exciting competition with its six traditional teams. The Punta Cana Cup, sponsored by the Puntacana Group, will be the trophy at stake. The opening day will feature a double header that will begin at 7:20 p.m. with the match between the San José and Savica clubs. After this first match, the opening ceremony will take place, culminating in the match between Antonio Guzmán and Centro. The Leo Tavárez sports center will be the official venue for this tournament.

This year’s dedication is for Monsignor Jesús Castro Marte, Bishop of the Diocese of Our Lady of La Altagracia.

The teams that will compete in the tournament are Savica, Centro, San José, San Francisco, Cambelén and the current champion, Antonio Guzmán. The games will be broadcast on TV Higüey and the official YouTube channel of ABAPA. Ernesto Veloz, businessman, presides over the Organizing Committee of the TBS Higüey 2025, with the aim of strengthening the event and fostering the support of the local business sector.

Friday’s Matches

The Friday matchups at TBS Higüey 2025 will include the clashes between Cambelén and San Francisco at 7:20 PM, followed by the match between Antonio Guzmán and San José at 9:00 PM.
