Santo Domingo – The star baseball player, Fernando Tatis Jr., has sown uncertainty about his participation in the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM), by stating that he has not yet decided which team he will play with in the upcoming seasons. During a press conference at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, where the Dominican Republic national team will face Detroit, Tatis Jr. was questioned about his future with the Estrellas Orientales, the team with which he has historically been linked.

The gardener made it clear that there is no decision made regarding his permanence with the green team. Despite the uncertainty, Tatis Jr. emphasized his connection with Dominican winter baseball, highlighting its relevance in his professional career. “Winter ball has always been a part of me, a key part of my career and something I plan to keep doing in the future,” he stated. When directly asked about which team he could play with, Tatis Jr. frankly responded: “I don’t know, I think I’m also a free agent in about a year, so there’s nothing more to say.” Regarding his participation with the national team, the player showed enthusiasm for the atmosphere within the Dominican team and for the opportunity to play before his public. “The harmony that is being created in there is something very beautiful. Playing in front of our Dominican Republic is something the country deserved a long time ago,” he stated.
