SANTO DOMINGO – The Dominican selection finished its preparation stage in national territory with a vibrant 4-4 tie against the Detroit Tigers, in a match where Juan Soto once again stood out with his offense.
This game, held at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, served as a farewell for the Dominican team before traveling to Miami. There, they will face Nicaragua this Friday in the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
Soto, key figure in the offense
Juan Soto put on a great show, hitting a triple that drove in two runs and a solo home run. This generated the joy of the fans who filled the stadium.
