The renowned British cyclist Simon Yates, belonging to the Visma | Lease a Bike team, has announced his retirement from professional cycling at the age of 33. This decision ends a sporting career full of successes, including the conquest of the Giro d’Italia 2025 and the Vuelta a España 2018, among other significant achievements. Yates is retiring at a peak moment in his career. In his last season, in addition to being crowned Giro champion, he achieved a stage victory in the Tour de France, consolidating an enviable record that includes partial victories in the three grand tours and the general classification of the Tirreno-Adriatico.A Thoughtful Decision
