Seattle Seahawks Joins the Super Bowl Two-Time Champions Club

The Seattle Seahawks have solidified their legacy in NFL history by winning their second Super Bowl title. This Sunday, the team joined a select group of franchises that have achieved victory twice in the prestigious event.

The 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX allowed the Seahawks to equal iconic teams such as the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, all of whom have two Lombardi trophies in their display cases.

This was Seattle’s fourth Super Bowl appearance. Previously, the team was crowned champion in the XLVIII edition, defeating the Denver Broncos, and suffered defeats in the XL editions, against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and XLIX, against the Patriots, against whom they achieved revenge on this occasion.

With this defeat, the New England Patriots lost the opportunity to become the team with the most Super Bowl titles, remaining with six, tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In the list of winners, the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys remain with five championships.

The Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, and New York Giants, with four titles each, also stand out in NFL history.

On the other hand, the Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, and the Washington Commanders have each achieved three victories.

Finally, the Chicago Bears, the New York Jets, and the New Orleans Saints complete the list of teams with a Super Bowl title.

The Cleveland Browns, the Detroit Lions, the Houston Texans, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are the only NFL teams that have not yet played in a Super Bowl.
