Savica Dominates the TBS Higüey 2025 Regular Season
HIGÜEY, LA ALTAGRACIA – Club Savica positioned itself at the top of the superior basketball tournament, after an epic victory against the Antonio Guzmán team. The match, held in the Leo Tavárez sports center, culminated with a score of 99-96 in favor of Savica.
After a complicated start with three consecutive defeats, Savica has demonstrated its strength with five wins in a row, securing first place with a 5-3 record. This successful streak displaced Centro, which now occupies second place with a 5-2 record, and Antonio Guzmán, relegated to third place with 4-4.Reinforcement Darwin Rosario, from Moca, led Savica’s attack with 25 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Roderick Guzmán contributed 21 points, while Ambiorix Moisés achieved a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Despite the defeat, Santiago’s reinforcement Oliver García shone with 30 points and five assists in his debut.
