San Lázaro International Volleyball Cup: 3rd edition and Redivoly kicks off

Santo Domingo, D.N. – From July 3rd to 6th, the Dominican capital will host the 3rd International Volleyball Cup “Versión San Lázaro”, an event that will also mark the 1st edition of the Redivoly tournament. The competition will bring together 36 volleyball teams, both national and international, promising a high-level sporting spectacle. This prestigious tournament will be dedicated to the Minister of Interior and Police, Faride Raful, in recognition of her support for youth initiatives and sport as a driver of social transformation.

International and National Participation

The tournament will feature the participation of international teams from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Venezuela, who will compete against Dominican clubs. The competing categories will be Minivoly, Infantil, Juvenil Femenino Libre and Juvenil Masculino Libre, ensuring a broad representation of talent across various ages.

Locations and Expectations

The matches will take place in two main venues: Club San Lázaro and Club Raúl Castro. A large influx of volleyball fans is expected, creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere.

This international tournament is a concrete way to continue betting on the development of sports in the Dominican Republic. Volleyball is one of the disciplines with the greatest growth and young talent in the country.
