San Francisco Giants Begin Their Journey to the MLB Season

SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS, RD. – The San Francisco Giants kicked off their preseason training this Tuesday, preparing for the next edition of the National Basketball League, which is scheduled to begin on April 14. The practices were carried out at the Mario Ortega roof, with the presence of players, coaching staff, and administrative personnel of the franchise. This event marked the official start of the preseason for the Francomacorisano team. Junior Matrillé welcomed those present and introduced the new general director of the team, Rafael Almánzar, as well as the operations team led by manager Aneudy Rivera. Also introduced to the coaching staff, headed by the experienced leader Víctor Peña, who will be accompanied by José Santos Ceballos, Edgar Lugo and Danilo Jerez. This team will be in charge of leading the team during the season.

CEO Rafael Almánzar expressed his satisfaction with the integration of the players from day one and urged them to maintain their commitment throughout the season. Aneudy Rivera, operations manager, thanked the players for their assistance and stated that the main objective is to fight for the championship.

On the first day of training, Miguel Miranda, Franky Batista, Jeffrey Abreu, Raphy Delvi Polanco, Ramón Daniel Axel, Hanlet Ruiz, Johan Guzmán, Claudy Ortega, Andriw Herrera, Luis Vásquez, Junior Muñoz, Dolfy Arias, Néstor Rodríguez and Jeremy Díaz participated. The training sessions will continue this Wednesday at 10:00 in the morning at the same venue, as part of the team’s preparation process for the next season, in which the Giants will seek to form a competitive team from the start of the tournament.
