The sweltering heat of Cincinnati was an added challenge for both tennis players, who put on an unforgettable show.

A clear example of Raducanu’s tenacity was evident in the third set, where it took her 23 minutes to secure a game on her serve.

Bouzas, Sabalenka’s next challenge

In the next phase, Sabalenka will face the Spaniard Jessica Bouzas, who had an outstanding performance by defeating the American Taylor Townsend with a score of 6-4 and 6-1 in just one hour and 21 minutes.

This will be the second match between Sabalenka and Bouzas.

In this year’s Australian Open, Sabalenka won in the second round with results of 6-3 and 7-5.

Bouzas, at 22 years old, has demonstrated an aggressive and bold game on his North American tour.

Last week, he reached the quarterfinals in Montreal.

In that round, she was surpassed by Victoria Mboko, who later became champion.

Bouzas has achieved an impressive record of 10 victories in his last 12 matches, including his outstanding participation in Wimbledon, where he reached the round of 16.
